Terms of Service

1. What Chiprally is

Chiprally is hosted software for running a recurring league of any game: standings, RSVPs, a social feed, achievements, and an admin portal. You subscribe to it as a service; we host and maintain it.

Chiprally is not a gambling service. It does not accept wagers, hold player funds, or run any game itself. It records the results of games you run yourself. You are responsible for ensuring that the games you run are lawful where you run them. This includes any local rules about entry fees, prizes, and promotions. Nothing in this software constitutes legal advice about running a league.

2. Your account

You need an account to subscribe. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the staff you appoint (officials, managers, admins) do with the permissions you give them.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and the league you run must comply with the age rules of your venue and jurisdiction.

3. Your data stays yours

You own your league's data: players, results, standings, posts, uploads, settings. We store and process it to provide the service, and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.

Each subscribing league is stored in its own separate database. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it, who our sub-processors are, and what happens on cancellation.

4. Billing

Subscription billing is not switched on yet. Chiprally is in early access: the Starter plan is free, the paid plans on the pricing page are not yet priced, and nothing is charged until we publish a price and tell you first. Paid plans will be billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor.

Once billing begins:

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Chiprally to:

We may suspend a league that is causing harm to other customers or to the service. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.

6. Availability and support

We aim to keep Chiprally available and correct, but we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee at this stage, and the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Planned maintenance will be announced when we can foresee it.

Our support staff may access your league's data when you ask us for help, or when we need to diagnose a fault. That access is recorded, and it shows up in your own staff list rather than being hidden from you.

7. Ending the agreement

You can cancel whenever you like. We may end the agreement if you materially break these terms and do not fix it after we tell you, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and time to export a full backup.

After cancellation your data is retained for a limited window so you can change your mind or export it, and is then deleted. The window is stated in the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Chiprally is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data beyond what our backups hold, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell subscribers before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute that cannot be resolved informally belongs in the state or federal courts located in Florida. The entity behind this agreement is Chip Rally LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Chiprally.
